Author Guidelines

Invited authors

Authors are invited to submit a short paper (up to 6 pages). Please, check the program and submit your abstract by choosing the "INVITED" path within the track list during the submission process.

Contributing authors for Posters

Authors wishing to present a poster are require to submit a short paper (from 4 to 6 pages), by selecting "POSTERS" path within the track list during the submission process.

Notification of acceptance of contributed short papers is April 23rd, 2023. The corresponding authors will be informed of the decision on poster presentation by the GRASPA 2023 Scientific Committee via e-mail communication.

Publishing

All accepted short papers will be published in the "Book of short papers - GRASPA 2023" (with ISBN), edited by members of the Local Organizing and Programme Committees. A consent form available on the website must be uploaded as supplementary file during the submission process. Click here to download the consent form.

Short papers must be written in English and must exclusively be sent using the on-line system available at this site. Once you are logged into the system, make sure that the Author box is checked in "My Profile" (top right of the conference page).

Contribution acceptance and publication is conditional upon fees payment.

Post conference publishing

Extended versions of a selection of short papers will be published in a Springer book, with the associated ISSN/ISBN, series

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The Conference language will be English. Invited Speakers will have a total of 20 minutes for their presentation.

 

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The poster size is A0, equals 118 cm height x  84 cm length, or smaller. Please choose upright format and keep in mind that the font sizes should be big enough to allow your poster to be read from some distance.

 

BEST POSTER AWARD:

The posters will be evaluated in terms of design and layout, coherence, argumentation and methodology, awareness of previous work, attractiveness, message and main points, balance of text visuals, and overall impression.

Winners of the best-rated poster will receive EUR 100 as a token for a Springer book.

 

 

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Pdf, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
