The University can be reached in four different ways, depending on the means of transport:
By car: take the A2 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway –> Rende – Cosenza Nord exit, and follow the signs for University – Paola.
By train: the Castiglione Cosentino railway station, connected directly to the railway junctions of Paola (Tyrrhenian railway line) and Sibari (Ionian railway line) is located about 3 km from the University. Near the station there is a bus stop of the Consorzio Autolinee which connects Cosenza with the University Campus; to reach it, after leaving the Castiglione Cosentino station, take via Edison (about 100 meters long) and cross via L. Da Vinci; a shelter indicates the university bus stop .
By bus: the Arcavacata Campus is connected to the main cities of Calabria by bus services; in particular, the service relating to the cities of Cosenza and Rende is provided by the Consorzio Autolinee. The terminus in Cosenza is located in piazza Autostazione. The line route includes stops at various points in the cities of Cosenza and Rende (including one in Quattromiglia) and has the University Campus as a further terminus.
By plane: Lamezia Terme Airport is the closest airport and is connected to the cities of Cosenza and Rende by bus service. Detailed information on how to reach Rende/University of Calabria or Cosenza (Bus Station) can be obtained by visiting the website www.sacal.it. Alternatively, see below.

LOCAL TRANSPORT
The campus is served by Consorzio Autolinee lines 136 and 138 from Rende and Cosenza. The campus bus terminal is located near CUBO 0B. Lines to Rende start from gates 1 and 2, lines to Cosenza start from gates 2 and 3. Tickets may be bought at the box office close to the terminal.
