How to arrive

Bergamo's international airport "Orio al Serio" has regular flights to many European cities. There is also a direct flight from/to Marrakech in case you are considering attending the ISI2017 conference too. The airport is located about 6 km away from Bergamo city centre. The best way to get to the city centre from the airport is by bus. Buses (line 1) run every 20 minutes and stop at Bergamo Station (near the city centre) and Città Alta (where the conference takes place). A single ticket costs 2.30 euros (valid on all ATB services within 90 minutes) and the journey takes about 20 minutes to Bergamo Station. For further information and timetables see the ATB website. You can also reach the city centre by taxi. The taxi fare is about 20-25 euros and the journey takes about 15 minutes (Radio Taxi +39 035 4519090).

You can also fly to Milano Linate that has regular flights to many European cities. If you travel to Linate airport, you have to take a bus or taxi to Milano Railway Station and then a train to Bergamo (travel time 40 minutes, see www.trenitalia.com for fares and timetable).

If you are travelling from outside Europe, you can fly to Milano Malpensa. To get to Bergamo, you can take the bus (18 euros single ticket) from Malpensa airport to Bergamo centre (travel time 2 hours).
