Abstract

The measure of Quality of Life is still a topic widely discussed in the
literature. In Italy, the newspaper "Il Sole 24 Ore" publishes a famous ranking that highlights a strong disparity between Northern and Southern Italy areas. In this paper, some methods are compared in order to show how different types of normalization and aggregation can influence the results.
