The 50th Scientific Meeting of the Italian Statistical Society will be held in Pisa, June 22-24

The venue of the conference are the Palazzo Dei Congressi (Palazzo Dei Congressi di Pisa, Via Giacomo Matteotti, 1 - 56124 Pisa) and the Polo Piagge (Polo Didattico delle Piagge, Via Giacomo Matteotti 3 - 56124 Pisa).

Registration desk, coffee breaks, lunches and Plenary Sessions will take place in the Palazzo Dei Congressi (Palazzo Dei Congressi di Pisa, Via Giacomo Matteotti, 1 - 56124 Pisa).

Posters will be exhibited on the ground floor of this building for the entire conference.

Parallel, Specialized and Contributed Sessions will be held at the Polo Piagge (Polo Didattico delle Piagge, Via Giacomo Matteotti 3 - 56124 Pisa).

 

How to reach the conference venue

From Pisa Centrale railway station

From Pisa Centrale railway station the conference venue can be reached in about 15 minutes walk or by bus. Take line LAM ROSSA (direction Ospedale Cisanello) at the stop Stazione 4 and get off at the stop Matteotti 3 (the Palazzo Dei Congressi is on the other side of the street). From Pisa international airport

The international airport of Pisa is 1 km from the city center and 2 km from the conference location.  The easiest way to reach the conference location is to take the automatic Pisamover shuttle (at less than 40 metres from the Passenger Terminal) for the Pisa Centrale railway station. The service is available every day from 6:00 AM to 00:00 AM at 5/8 minute intervals.

How to reach Pisa

Pisa is located in Tuscany, Central Italy. It well-connected with the rest of Italy and with Europe and is easy to access by car, by train and by air.

By train: Pisa is well-connected by a strong rail network to all the major cities in Italy and Europe. The city's main station is called Pisa Centrale. If you arrive in Florence (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) there are regular trains to Pisa and the journey takes just an hour. By air: The international airport of Pisa is served by several international airlines and they are daily connected to most of the main Italian and European Airports.
