SHORT PAPERS SUBMISSION

All authors are invited to select the appropriate track during the submission process:

-          authors of invited papers must select the track corresponding to their session title;

-          authors of contributed papers must select the "Contributed papers - oral" or the “Contributed papers - poster” track.

Authors of contributed papers can choose to present their work in the form of poster or oral presentation. A poster session is scheduled during the cocktail party on Monday 22 June and posters will receive wide visibility during all social activities. The best posters as judged by a qualified jury will be awarded during the SIS general assembly.

Only if the number of accepted submissions for oral presentations exceeds those that can be allocated in the conference program, some of the contributed papers proposed for oral presentations could be turned into posters. In this case the order of arrival will be taken into account.

Notice that at least one of the authors of an accepted contribution has to register by May 8th to have it included in the final program and in the "Book of short papers - SIS 2020".

Short papers must include:

-          an introduction to the substantive problem and to the data analysed;

-          the description of the approach and/or models used;

-          a statement of the main results and conclusions;

-          the most important key references.

All accepted short papers will be published in the "Book of short papers - SIS 2020" (with ISBN) edited by members of the Local Organizing and Programme Committees. A consent form available on the website must be uploaded as supplementary file during the submission process. Authors who don’t want to publish their work in the "Book of short papers - SIS 2020" should avoid filling the consent form.
